Live in Balance

As the calendar year starts to wind down, it may seem that somehow everything is speeding up.

I always find it valuable to remember to LIVE in BALANCE – especially at this time of the year.

It is a time of giving and receiving. It is a wonderful feeling to give to others, yet we must remember to also give to ourselves. That’s Balance.

We Breathe in, we Breathe out - that’s Balance.

There is night and day – that’s Balance.

I recently wrote about the absolute value of Breathing Deeply Daily – in a balanced rhythm of 7′s.


Take a Deep Belly breath in and count to 7… then Hold to the count of 7, then slowly and gently Breathe Out to the count of 7, then Hold to the count of 7.

Mindfulness - the art of expanding our awareness to be aware and more mindful of what we are doing every moment of the day. Mindfulness helps us to slow down and appreciate life around us. Mindfulness helps us to expand our mind and notice “the big picture.”

Mindfulness “releases us from the entanglement” of our mind or our life, so energy and love can flow freely.

Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts.

Here is a Simple yet Powerful ABC Mindfulness for Daily use:

A = Accept

B = Breathe Deeply

C = Change

ACCEPT. Reflect on the situation at hand. Allow yourself a quite moment to be still. Accept what has happened, as you cannot change what has actually happened.

BREATHE – BREATHE DEEPLY. A long, slow, deep belly breath to oxygenate your body, to oxygenate every single cell in your body, to bring clarity to your thoughts and your thinking.

CHANGE. Change your perceptions, change to a new idea, change to a new strategy, change and ask some-one different to help you find a solution, change your plans, change something!
